Day Dresses

Gowns shown are examples of what has been made.  Our gowns are two pieces consisting of a skirt and bodice made of silk, silk taffeta or silk linen.   Silk is a natural fabric and is comfortable all year round.  Gowns have fitted bodices with hook and eye front closure,  fully boned and piped.  Bodices can be made to tuck in for belting options.  Buttons are typically used for decoration only.  All Gowns are DRY CLEAN ONLY.

Skirts are constructed using knife pleats, box pleats or a combination of both with the weight directed to the back.  This was done in preparation for the bustle.  Very flattering!  Hem tape is used to protect the skirts.  Hook and bars used to secure the waist band.
